Behind the Scenes Tour of our Clinics

Making the switch from GP to emergency can be daunting. We want you to be sure you like this work environment and connect with our team. Do you want to see us in action? Tour our team and experience a day in the life of an emergency veterinarian at AEA.

Clinical Placement

Curious about the day in the life of an Emergency and Critical Care vet? Animal Emergency Australia’s hospitals provide a variety of clinical placements for university students studying veterinary science. Take a tour behind the scenes and get to know us before committing to a career with us. If you’re interested, get in touch via the form below!

Do You Offer Work Experience for Vet Nurses?

Currently, we do not offer work experience for veterinary nurses or clinical placement, as our emergency clinics don’t cover tasks needed to be marked off for placements (e.g., dentals, vaccinations, routine care). However, we do instead offer:

  • Casual Animal Assistant and Veterinary Nurse Assistant jobs are designed to be flexible around your studies
  • A supportive internship once you graduate

Please note, we don’t offer internships to anyone currently not enrolled in a university degree. Working in emergency can be daunting, with graphic and emotional situations – for this reason we do not take on high school students for work experience in our hospitals.
