About the Role
As a Senior Veterinarian at Animal Emergency Service Hobart, you’ll play a key leadership role in our emergency team—guiding clinical decision-making, mentoring colleagues, and shaping the development of our service as we continue to grow.
You’ll work alongside experienced ECC vets, specialists and a team of highly skilled nurses, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and team support. You’ll also have access to advanced training, structured leadership development, and a strong support network from our national group.
About You
You’re a confident and collaborative vet who loves both leading and learning. You bring sound clinical judgment, compassion, and the ability to bring out the best in others.
You’ll also have:
- BVSc (or equivalent) and registration to practice in Australia
- Strong emergency and critical care skills
- A passion for mentoring, coaching and team development
- MANZCVS (ECC or similar) highly desirable but not essential
- A calm, flexible approach and strong communication skills
- A drive for continual learning, and a sense of humour when it counts!
