About The Role
As part of the National AEA People & Culture team, you will work in a small but dynamic team providing support, guidance, and HR business partnership to our leaders.

This is a front facing role where you will partner with and provide support to our hospital leadership teams. You will work closely with your allocated hospitals to understand their business challenges and priorities. 
You will be solution focused, assisting the hospital leadership team with implementing national P&C processes and initiatives.
This role supports our emergency and GP practices across Australia and some travel will be required from time to time.

AEA offers a hybrid, flexible working environment, with office days spent at the support office located in Springwood, Brisbane.

What’s Involved

  • Build leadership competency and capability by coaching, facilitating and supporting regional leadership teams
  • Support the execution of strategic remuneration and benefits initiatives, projects and policy reviews
  • Coach, guide and support leaders to manage employee relations issues
  • Champion our diversity and inclusion strategy and culture
  • Provide guidance and ensure compliance with relevant legislative, policy and process requirements

Who We’re Looking For

You will have a background in Generalist HR Business Partnering, with a good understanding around remuneration and benefits and experience with the employee lifecycle stages and process and, employee relations. You’ll have strong stakeholder management, with the ability to challenge, influence and empower leaders across the business, effectively supporting our leaders to manage employee performance and mitigate risk.
 You’ll also have a high level of emotional intelligence and resilience; being able to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the overall aim of promoting a positive workplace culture.

You’ll Need
  

  • Tertiary qualification in Law, HR, business, Commerce, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience working in a HR business partner or equivalent role, ideally within a multi-site organisation
  • Excellent understanding in remuneration and benefits projects, reviews and implementation
  • Sound knowledge of employee relations legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A track record of taking initiative and achieving pragmatic outcomes
