CVES is a dedicated after-hours emergency and critical care hospital providing urgent veterinary care to Canberra and the surrounding region.
Our clinic manages a diverse and challenging caseload, supporting local daytime practices while delivering critical care when pets need it most.
CVES is known for its strong team culture, collaborative clinical approach, and commitment to ongoing learning and development.

CVES is part of Animal Emergency Australia (AEA)- a growing national network of emergency and specialty veterinary hospitals across Australia.
What makes AEA different is that we are a people-focused, clinician-led organisation, built by veterinary professionals who understand the unique demands of emergency medicine.

By joining CVES, you become part of a national community of ECC teams, benefiting from:

  • Collaboration across multiple emergency hospitals
  • Access to clinical specialists and experienced ECC mentors
  • National professional development and education opportunities
  • A culture focused on team wellbeing, growth, and support

About the Role:
This is a part-time Emergency Veterinarian position, working approximately 60 hours per fortnight.
