The Role We’re seeking experienced and dedicated Emergency Veterinary Nurses who enjoy variety and thrive under pressure.
You’ll be involved in:
- Hands-on triage, hospital case management, surgery, and critical nursing.
- Managing diverse and high-acuity cases including trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies.
- Supporting complex and intensive care patients with advanced equipment and protocols.
- Working closely with veterinarians and client care teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Participating in debriefs and case discussions that promote growth and wellbeing.
This is a casual position within a 24/7 emergency hospital, so flexible availability is essential.
About You You will bring:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology.
- Current WA Veterinary Nurse Registration.
- Minimum one year of emergency and critical care experience, or three years in general practice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and adaptability for varied shifts.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and excellence in patient care.
