About PVE
Perth Vet Emergency (PVE) is a fast-paced and progressive emergency service located in our 2 well renowned PVE hospitals based in Yokine and Canninton. We are a trusted leader in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) for small animals and our vision is to set the highest possible standard for ECC medicine in Australia. We have an inclusive and compassionate team of Client Care Representatives, Management, Nurses, and Veterinarians.
About the Role
Our Client Care Representative role is the main connection between our clients and the technical team. This position is responsible for ensuring our clients and their pets have the best possible experience whilst in PVE care, from the time they come through our doors to when they leave and beyond. We are a team of thoughtful and considerate people who show empathy and compassion. We greet everyone with a smile on our face and kindness in our hearts, regardless of the emergencies that are occurring behind closed doors.
This role will require rostered shifts on a variety of weekends, weekdays/nights, and public holidays to continue delighting and supporting our clients. Senior Client Care Representative role is available for the right person!
What does CCR life look like at PVE?
Continually going above and beyond to ensure our clients and their pets experience exceptional client service
Confidently communicating pet updates to clients and answering their queries
Collaborating with the broader PVE team regarding updates, pet’s needs and finance information
Assisting clients with finance and insurance claims
Accurately completing a range of administrative functions including data entry, phone queries, and finance processing
Supporting our hospital team in an animal attendant capacity during quieter periods
What does our ideal candidate look like?
Ideally, A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary environment
**Nurses with a passion for client experience are encouraged to apply and will be paid according to their qualifications
Knowledge of animal handling, behaviours and care (preferred)
Knowledge and experience of animal triaging (preferred)
Thrives in fast-paced environment and stays calm under pressure
Warm personality that loves engaging and building positive relationships with people and animals
Confident and comfortable with systems, procedures and managing funds
Strong time management and organisation skills
Multi-tasking superstar
License and reliable transport due to the nature of shift work and location
Flexibility to participate in a casual roster spanning across Yokine and Cannington locations
Adaptable and motivated to jump in and assist the hospital team
