About the Role
As Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely financial operations across a multi-entity group. You’ll handle accounts payable processes, credit card reconciliation, invoice payments, and end-of-month reporting. You’ll also be a go-to expert for practice managers and clinical teams when it comes to financial accuracy and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile supplier invoices, employee expenses, and credit card transactions
- Manage AP mailboxes and respond to payment queries
- Prepare and process mid-month and end-of-month payments
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Resolving supplier queries via email and phone
- Assisting with month-end procedures and providing financial reporting as required
- Supporting the broader finance team as needed
The Successful Applicant Should Have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounts payable
- Proficiency with Xero, Dext, and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance an advantage
