Animal Emergency Australia are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their Springwood support office on a full-time basis.

About the Role
As Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely financial operations across a multi-entity group. You’ll handle accounts payable processes, credit card reconciliation, invoice payments, and end-of-month reporting. You’ll also be a go-to expert for practice managers and clinical teams when it comes to financial accuracy and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile supplier invoices, employee expenses, and credit card transactions
  • Manage AP mailboxes and respond to payment queries
  • Prepare and process mid-month and end-of-month payments
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Resolving supplier queries via email and phone
  • Assisting with month-end procedures and providing financial reporting as required
  • Supporting the broader finance team as needed

The Successful Applicant Should Have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounts payable
  • Proficiency with Xero, Dext, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance an advantage
