The Opportunity
We are seeking a Commercial Strategy & Analytics Lead to define and govern the commercial intelligence that underpins AEA’s strategic and operational decisions.
This is a high-trust, high-impact enterprise role responsible for ensuring the organisation has a single, coherent, and defensible view of commercial performance, growth, workforce economics, and investment decisions.
You will operate as the architect of commercial truth across the organisation.
What You Will Own
Enterprise Commercial Intelligence
- Long-range (5-10 year) growth and capacity modelling
- Hospital and network-level economic frameworks
- Capital deployment and expansion modelling
Pricing & Commercial Strategy
- Pricing strategy, elasticity, and margin modelling
- Scenario analysis for commercial decision-making
- Post-implementation pricing performance tracking
Workforce & Labour Economics
- Workforce cost modelling and productivity analysis
- Remuneration and scalability modelling
- Workforce scenario planning in partnership with P&C and Operations
Business Intelligence & Data Governance
- Ownership of BI strategy (Power BI, Anaplan)
- Executive Data Dictionary and metric governance
- Elimination of shadow reporting and inconsistent metrics
Executive Decision Support
- Translate complex analysis into clear executive insight
- Support Board and Executive decision-making with commercial clarity
- Raise organisational decision quality and analytical maturity

- Clear linkage between data, insight, and strategic action

About You
You will bring:
- 5-8+ years in strategy, consulting, FP&A, or commercial analytics
- Strong financial modelling capability (scenario and long-range)
- Experience in complex, ambiguous, stakeholder-rich environments
- Strong Power BI capability (Anaplan highly desirable)
- Confidence influencing senior executives with data-led insight
- Ability to move between detail and strategic narrative
Highly regarded:
- Consulting background (Big 4 or strategy firm)
- Healthcare, operations, or multi-site business exposure
- Experience building BI frameworks or enterprise data governance
