About PVE Yokine
PVE Yokine is a dedicated after-hours emergency hospital, operating:
- Mon–Fri: 8:00pm – 6:00am
- Weekends & Public Holidays: 24/7
Part of Animal Emergency Australia (AEA), we’re proud to be a progressive ECC network known for clinical excellence, collaboration, and people-first leadership. You’ll work alongside experienced ECC veterinarians, skilled nurses, and leaders who actively invest in your development.
About the Role We’re welcoming:
- Experienced ECC Veterinarians, and
- GP or rural vets ready to transition into emergency medicine
You’ll be supported to build confidence in emergency procedures, decision-making, and after-hours caseloads – with mentoring, specialist access, and structured support at every stage.
Casual and PPT options available, with rosters designed to support real work-life balance.
What You’ll Bring
- BVSc / DVM (or equivalent) recognised in Australia
- Current (or eligible) veterinary registration in Australia
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to gold-standard patient care
- Confidence working independently, with strong clinical judgement
- Curiosity, resilience, and a desire to keep learning
- ECC experience is welcome – but not essential if you bring solid GP foundations
