Tick Roadshow: Australia’s Leading Tick Paralysis Update

Australia’s leading veterinary tick paralysis education series is back – and in 2025, we’re going deeper.

Following the success of last year’s Tick and Snake Roadshow, Animal Emergency Australia is proud to launch the Tick Roadshow 2025, a national tour focused exclusively on the latest evidence, research, and real-world application in the management of tick paralysis.

As veterinary teams across the country know all too well, Ixodes holocyclus – the Australian paralysis tick – remains one of the most dangerous threats to companion animals in coastal regions. This year’s refined format allows us to go beyond the basics, tackling the complex challenges and evolving insights surrounding tick paralysis in greater depth.

What to Expect

This live education event is designed for general practice and emergency veterinary professionals who want to:

  • Deepen their understanding of tick paralysis pathophysiology
  • Learn practical, evidence-informed protocols for diagnosis and treatment
  • Explore case-based scenarios drawn from current clinical data
  • Ask questions directly to one of the nation’s leading experts

The session will include interactive discussion, current literature reviews, and actionable takeaways for your team—whether you’re managing isolated presentations or seasonal surges.
