Jodi was appointed Co-CEO of Animal Emergency Australia in September 2022. She has played a crucial role in the company’s growth, overseeing the leadership teams. Starting her career as a veterinary nurse in the early 90s, Jodi advanced to Practice Manager, holding this position for 15 years before joining Animal Emergency Service in 2007. She received the Australian Veterinary Association’s Business Manager of the Year award in 2012 and 2015. Under her leadership, the business expanded from 1 hospital to 10 hospitals by 2024.

Jodi is also a professional EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) implementer, a set of simple concepts and practical tools designed to clarify, simplify, and achieve their vision.

In her role today, Jodi oversees the executive functions for hospital high performance, including:

– Developing operational strategies to enhance performance and profitability.
– Working in tandem with the Clinical Visionary Co-CEO to support and complement clinical excellence.
– Managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
– Optimising supply chain and inventory management.
– Directing human resources activities to foster a productive and positive work environment.
– Implementing technology solutions to improve operations and client experiences.
– Conducting operational analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop responsive strategies.
