Jane Roberts
Jane has worked for the Animal Emergency Service since May 2000, she qualified as a veterinary nurse in the UK and relocated to Australia in September 1999 to further her career. Since arriving in Australia, she has completed her Training and Assessor Certificate, Diploma in Surgical Nursing and has gained extensive experience in Emergency and Critical Care nursing. She now manages the Pet Intensive Care Unit with a fantastic support team.
Jane also keeps her finger on the pulse working for a Brisbane based Veterinary Nursing Training College allowing her to bring the most relevant information for nurses to the clinic. Needless to say, working in a clinic, Jane has acquired an extensive fur family as all veterinary nurses have a tendency to do. Pimple, Squamous and Mole were stray cat’s rescued from work, Rhubarb her Border Terrier was a later addition and she also has 4 crazy chickens. Jane likes to spend her spare time with her husband and 3 gorgeous children enjoying the great outdoors and experiencing all that life has to offer.
