Jane has worked for the Animal Emergency Service since May¬†2000, she qualified as a veterinary nurse in the UK and relocated to Australia in September 1999 to further her career. Since arriving in Australia, she has completed her Training and Assessor Certificate,¬†Diploma in Surgical Nursing and has gained extensive experience in Emergency and Critical Care nursing. She now manages the Pet Intensive Care Unit with a fantastic support team.
Jane also keeps her finger on the pulse working for a Brisbane based Veterinary Nursing Training College allowing her to bring the most relevant information for nurses to the clinic. Needless to say, working in a clinic, Jane has acquired an extensive fur family as all veterinary nurses have a tendency to do. Pimple, Squamous and Mole were stray cat’s rescued from work, Rhubarb her Border Terrier was a later addition and she also has 4 crazy chickens. Jane likes to spend her spare time with her husband and 3 gorgeous children enjoying the great outdoors and experiencing all that life has to offer.
