Dr Lisa Brumby

Dr Lisa Brumby had always dreamt of becoming a veterinarian since being in kindergarten and has never waived from her dream. Dr Lisa began her veterinary career at the Animal Welfare League (Coombabah) before joining us at Animal Emergency Service.
Dr Lisa progressed into emergency medicine as she looking for a challenge as well as searching for a way to do more for her patients. Working for Animal Emergency Service, Dr Lisa has found what she was looking for – a variety of cases as well as the opportunity to work with high-level diagnostic equipment.
While working in emergency medicine isn’t always easy, Dr Lisa says the difference you can make for the patients and their families is more than worthwhile.
When not at work you can find Dr Lisa spending time at dog beaches with her pooch (pictured), and keeping busy with her young family kayaking, exploring national parks and botanic gardens.
