Amy Mosley

Nurse Amy started her career in surgical and internal medicine nursing, but as soon as she started doing emergency shifts she was hooked! The mixed variety of cases and the rush of emergency and critical cases soon saw Amy switching to an emergency medicine career.

As an emergency nurse, Amy has seen a lot, but her most memorable case involved a koala who liked to gamble! Picked up at the casino of all places and brought to our hospital, this koala caused a bit of a ruckus by biting one of the other nurses on her bottom while being examined! Being one of Amy’s very first shifts at our hospital it really broke the ice with the team with lots of laughter.

Outside work and living on the coast, Amy loves being close to so many amazing dog beaches and often spends her time taking her fur baby terrors (pictured) on excursions.
