Welcome to Jindalee

With a team that rotates frequently between the Jindalee and Underwood hospital (think, twice the amount of friends!), you’ll be joining a team that really wants to make a difference to the quality of life of their patients.

On a busy day, the team can see in excess of 30+ patients, presenting with emergencies such as GDV, car accidents, dog attack injuries, snake envenomation, tick paralysis, and more.

Jindalee is home to some of the best shopping in Brisbane, with the AES hospital so close to the DFO, you’ll be shopping till your heart’s content on days off.

Just 30 minutes east is Westfield Carindale – abundant with shops and eateries, or take a hike at Mount Nebo (just a 45-minute drive away).

You could also choose to head into the CBD, just a stone’s throw from the hospital where there are many cultural experiences to be had – the Gallery of Modern Art, the Museum, into Southbank for a swim with the family, or to Grey St where you’ll find the most eclectic array of cafes and restaurants.

As an emergency vet professional you’ll be able to take advantage of working shift work, where you’ll have the daytime to run errands and explore places around the local area.
