We’re looking for an enthusiastic Nursing Assistant to support our clinical operations and help create calm, clean, and compassionate spaces for pets and their families in emergencies.
About the Role
As a Nursing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our hospital running smoothly — supporting our vets and nurses, caring for patients, and maintaining our high standards of hygiene and safety. Every day is different, and every shift makes a difference.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with animal care and handling during busy emergency shifts
- Maintain hospital hygiene, including patient enclosures, equipment, and floors
- Manage laundry and bedding to ensure patient comfort
- Prepare food for patients and wildlife as directed
- Support infection control, safety, and biosecurity standards
- Be part of a professional, supportive, and caring team
About You
You’re someone who brings energy, compassion, and reliability to everything you do.
- Certificate II in Animal Care (highly regarded but not essential)
- Passion for animal welfare and hands-on care
- Reliable, well-presented, and team-focused
- Available for early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
- A driver’s licence and positive attitude are a must!
