The Role
We’re looking for a casual Veterinary Nurse to join AES North Coast, based in Ballina. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced emergency environment and wants to make a real difference to pets and their families. You’ll be exposed to complex ECC cases, assist with surgeries, and work closely with a supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting ECC vets in triage, critical care, monitoring, and emergency surgery
- Maintaining exceptional patient and client care standards
- Collaborating with the team to deliver continuity of care
- Participating in nurse rounds, CPD, and ongoing professional development
What You’ll Bring
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in ECC or mixed practice
- Passion for emergency care
- Flexibility to work casual shifts across a rotating roster
- Positive energy, strong communication skills, and a love of teamwork
